Credit Transfer

Academic requirements at Salzburg College are consistent with those of most American educational institutions. The Salzburg College transcripts reflect all the courses you complete, the letter grade earned, and the credit awarded.

Please discuss the transfer of credit with your home university advisor.

Honors Credit

In-course honors credit is available to qualified students for most courses. Requests must be made to the Salzburg College director within the first two weeks of classes.

The In-Course Honors Contract specifies additional readings and/or field work and will be evaluated by the appropriate instructor. Students who are in formal honors programs at their home institutions should receive approval in advance from their honors program directors.

Credit Transfer

If your home university has a direct or consortium affiliation with Salzburg College, your Salzburg transcript will be automatically approved by your home university. Each partner institution establishes its own equivalencies for Salzburg College courses.

If your home university does not have an affiliation with Salzburg College, you may receive a transcript by applying to Salzburg College through Northern Illinois University or CCIS.
