How does the class schedule work. Are Fridays off? Could I see course times / days before registering so I could try to schedule mostly Tuesday/Thursday classes or non-Friday classes for travel purposes?

The schedule at Salzburg College does not follow the typical Tuesday-Thursday or Monday-Wednesday-Friday schedule that is the norm at American universities.

Rather, the schedule is arranged around the students' needs. We try to avoid class conflicts, so that all students can take the classes they want to attend.Classes are held Monday through Friday (there are no late afternoon classes on Fridays).

You have plenty of time to travel during the two week mid-semester break. Also, many destinations can still be easily reached on Friday afternoon for a weekend visit. Or you may take a night train and save the cost of an overnight stay!
